Monthly Economic Report (MER)

The MER is an exclusive document that offers a technical, objective and independent analysis of the factors that influence the country’s economy and business climate, providing the necessary business decision-making tools.

It is distributed at the end of each month in both physical and digital format, the latter of which can be accessed by way of our web page with the password provided at the time of subscription.The MER includes the following sections:

  • Political Situation:  an analysis of the principal political and social events that could affect the business environment
  • Macroeconomics: an evaluation of the current economic climate and a rigorous tracking of the real, monetary, fiscal and foreign sectors. Also includes the macroeconomic projections, updated quarterly in January, April, July and October.
  • Markets: the tracking and analysis of the financial markets (fixed income and variable income).
  • Special Report: a detailed study of global international, foreign commerce, taxation, labor markets, sector indicators, business costs or subjects of general business or economic interest.
