Private Initiatives and Concessions

Macroinvest provides its services both to the Peruvian Government and to the bidders participating in concession processes, mainly in the area of infrastructure development.

Our services are comprehensive and cover from the identification and understanding of the institutional, legal and regulatory framework, to the projection of demand, the economic-financial analysis of the project by means of modeling, the analysis and assigning of risks between the grantor and the concessionaire, the negotiation of the conditions of entry and the concession contracts, the guarantees, the financial structuring involved in the contracts, the obtaining of indications of interest from banks interested in financing the operation. Our services include advising the client until the signing of the concession contract, or any other similar contract.

The Peruvian legal framework establishes the possibility that the private sector can present private initiatives to design, build, finance, and operate a public service. Macroinvest has advised a number of different investors who have been interested in developing such initiatives in the water and sanitation, logistical services, and port infrastructure areas.
